About Us
Very very simply put, our vision has been to support readers with information about economics and anything related to it. This will be through applying economics to other fields, questioning aspects of economics, analyzing datasets for patterns, and debunking economic theories.
Beyond Economics will help you stay constantly informed about economics and its various applications through articles where we document and analyze the data we have found and research we have collected. Visit the Blog page to stay updated on articles about economics and more every week!

Michael Pancras

Michael is the Varsity Boy's Tennis Captain for SWHS and this past season was an Central Connecticut Conference East Champion and a part of the All Conference Team, which recognizes athletes across the state with a strong academic background who also qualified for states. He is also a member of SWHS FBLA where he placed at the State Leadership Conference and qualified for the National Leadership Conference twice and recently attended and competed at NLC in Atlanta, GA. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing table tennis, tennis, strengthening his web design skills, and coding in Python.
Jerry Pancras
Jeremiah Pancras is a senior at South Windsor High School who wants to major in business management and music (either music business or production). Jeremiah, who goes by Jerry, yearns to be a business executive in the recorded music industry, and wants to run his own record label to help smaller artists and producers to gain the exposure that their music deserves as well as promote fair financial compensation and dealings for their intellectual property. Jerry started this website because he wanted to help teach economics, which he was very fond of, to those like him who could not understand it as easily as others. Jerry is a member of his school's chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America and has competed in numerous events such as Accounting I and II, as well as Microeconomics. He is also a Subteam Lead for the Bobcat Robotics Media Subteam. In his free time, Jerry enjoys playing tennis and making music as an aspiring artist and producer.
